Apollo Launches 2022 Markets Outlook

Apollo is pleased to release the first in a series of ongoing publications titled “Apollo Perspectives” written by Chief Economist Torsten Sløk. January’s white paper, “Outlook for the Economy and Markets in 2022,” takes readers through a series of key economic themes for the new year, including Torsten’s outlook on inflation, consumer spending, and interest rates.

In particular, the publication takes a deep dive into the potential market impact of the Federal Reserve’s expected interest rate hikes and its decision to end asset purchases.

“Investors should keep in mind that once the Fed begins to tighten policy, the goal is to limit risk-taking in the economy and financial markets,” Torsten writes.
